"This update to my review is about State Farm, but unfortunately, also about this agent's office. I was only able to get a full "unearned premiums" refund after filing a complaint with the state of Texas. Surprisingly, SF's stated policy is to refund a max of 30-days -- even though the state requires all "unearned premiums" for a car no longer owned to be refunded... until the TDI confronts them with a customer complaint -- then full refund is processed in a matter of days (my experience). That doesn't work for me and I have moved my autos elsewhere. Not long ago I also filed a roof claim which was denied, and was told by multiple sources that SF has become known to force claimants to go through the contest/audit process to get payouts. This was my old review (circa 2019): I've been working with Scott for several years now for auto and homeowner's. He's earned my trust, and has always worked to get me the right policy and premium."

He made my choices easy for vehicle insurance and the decision for additional life insurance feasible at a price point anyone would love. Bundling, autopay, paperless billing and the added benefit of drive safe and save are absolute must haves for anyone considering these investments when it comes to coverage. I was given comfort in knowing that my family and I have well-rounded protection for everyday travel and peace of mind life coverage to handle the inevitable that none of us can afford to ignore. To be honest, not the best experience especially with me needing to make a decision by 09/13 before my renewal.
